Cans Across the Conference

Cans Across the Conference is a yearly canned food drive held every fall by schools in the USA South Athletic Conference. Until Nov.17, Meredith’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be collecting any non-perishable food items to donate to a local charity called Raleigh Rescue Mission.

This year marks the 19th year that the USA South Athletic Conference has held this food drive. In addition to serving the community, schools compete to be crowned the Cans Across the Conference Champions.

Raleigh Rescue Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the homeless in the Raleigh and Wake County Area. Collection bins are located in Weatherspoon and the Cate Center and will be at all fall Meredith College Athletic events. For any further questions, contact Megan Rahn, the Meredith Basketball Head Coach.
