On March 11, 2021, the Meredith Executive Leadership Team sent an email to the Class of 2021 regarding commencement plans. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, there are still many unknowns regarding the plan for commencement. However, at this time an in-person commencement ceremony will be held on the weekend of May 15. The ceremonies will be held outdoors with limited attendance allowed. Additionally, the Class of 2020 will have a commencement celebration on the weekend of May 1. According to Meredith’s page about the 2021 Commencement, the ceremonies may be staggered for safety.

When asked how she felt about commencement being held in person, senior Kate Tisdale said that she is “glad we get to have an in-person graduation, since we have missed out on so many traditions…it is nice that we get to end our Meredith experience with one final tradition and see our Meredith family one last time.”
