Chick-fil-A Comes to the Beehive
Food has always played a role in bringing people together, and the Beehive's latest event seems to be doing exactly that. Whether students are stopping by for a quick lunch, meeting up with friends, or inviting someone new to join them, Chick-fil-A has quickly become another reason for students to gather. On Sept. 23, the Beehive sold both original and spicy chicken sandwiches as well as chicken nuggets. The addition has already become a popular topic among students, many of whom say they are happy to have another dining option available on campus.
One student, Iman Hraish, ‘30, shared her excitement about the change.
"I am excited because for one, it's Chick-fil-A, and two because I don't have to go out and get it. It's right there," she said. "I'm meeting new people along the way. It went from 'I love your style' to like, 'Hey, let's go get Chick-fil-A,' so you can meet more people. It brings people together."
Many students are obviously excited simply because they enjoy Chick-fil-A, others see it as an opportunity to connect with people. Something as simple as grabbing a meal can turn into a conversation, a new friendship, or a chance to spend time with classmates.
