Meredith College Residence Life updated its guest policy for residential students on Oct. 29. While residents are still limited to one guest at a time, the new policy now allows students to have a parent or guardian as guests in the Oaks Apartments and residence halls. Previously, the guest policy only permitted other Meredith students to enter on-campus residences. The Residence Life Policy Addendum clarifies that students are not permitted to have overnight guests, including other residential Meredith students, commuter students or parents/guardians.

The email also reminded students that COVID-19 vaccination “is required for the spring semester and may take up to seven weeks to complete.” Residence Life urges students to “plan accordingly” in regards to scheduling their vaccinations. More information about the updated Community Standards and vaccination policy can be found on the Staying Strong website.
