Cornhuskin': A (Visual) Timeline

10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Balloon Arches Made

Classes spend the morning and part of the afternoon carefully building their balloon arches for the parade later.


3:30-4 p.m

Parade on Main Campus Drive

Students, administration and alumnae ride down Main Campus Drive in self-made floats

as onlookers cheer them on.


5:30-6:30 p.m.

Attendees Arrive

Guests and student spectators alike fill the ampitheatre as classes prepare for

the Main Event in an hour.


6:30 p.m.

Main Event Begins

MRA Cornhuskin' Chairs Mary Grace Teachey, '24, and Consepcion Cruz, '23,

host the Main Event.


7 p.m.

Skit Performances

Classes perform their skits filled with Meredith puns and dance breaks.


8 p.m.

Hog Callin' Performances

These short acts are filled with energetic dances and suey-t pig puns.


8:25 p.m.

Tall Tale Performances

One student from each class showcases a monologue as an item related to their theme.


9:20 p.m.

Results Announced

Final scores are calculated, and it is announced that the Class of 2023 has won Cornhuskin'.
