Sept. 28: Soccer game against NC Wesleyan College
The soccer team won against NC Wesleyan with a final score of 1-0. Morgan Thomas had four total shots, four shots on goal and scored the winning goal. Senior Lilly Fox had two total shots and one assist. Claire-Emma Britt and Charlotte Ward had one total shot each.
Oct. 1: Soccer game against Greensboro College
The soccer team tied against Greensboro College with a final score of 1-1. Claire-Emma Britt scored one goal, had three shots and one shot on goal. Freshman Kalin Creech had three shots and two shots on goal. Freshman Meredith Warrick had three shots and one shot on goal. Freshman Bryanna Schug had one total shot. The soccer team’s next game is Oct. 6 against William Peace University.
Oct. 2: Volleyball game against Greensboro College
The volleyball team won against Greensboro College with a final score of 3-2. Senior Avery Bowman had 39 total attempts, 12 kills, 12 digs, one block solo and one block assist. Hailey Long had 35 total attempts, ten kills, two digs and two block assists. Senior Whitney Bolton had 30 total attempts and 11 kills. Freshman Madelyn Clark had 30 total attempts, ten kills, two digs and one block assist. Lauren Bissette had 28 total attempts, 16 kills, three block solos and two block assists. Freshman Mac Stafford had eight total attempts, four kills, one dig and one block assist. Freshman Sara Dees had five total attempts, one kill, two digs and one block assist. Senior Lauren Phillips had one attempt and 28 total digs. Senior Bailey Lucas had one attempt and ten digs. Hannah Jo Jablonski had 11 digs. Freshman Emily Emerson had ten digs.
Oct. 2: Volleyball game against Pfeiffer University
The volleyball team won against Pfeiffer University with a final score of 3-1. Lauren Bissette had 25 total attempts, 19 kills, three digs and three block assists. Avery Bowman had 24 total attempts, six kills, six digs and one block assist. Hailey Long had 21 total attempts, ten kills, one dig and three block assists. Whitney Bolton had 20 total attempts, nine kills and one block assist. Madelyn Clark had 17 total attempts, six kills and six digs. Mac Stafford had seven total attempts, three kills, three digs and two block assists. Hannah Jo Jablonski had two total attempts, one kill and 13 digs. Bailey Lucas had two total attempts and five digs. Lauren Phillips had 12 total digs. Emily Emerson had four digs. The volleyball team is set to play against William Peace University on Oct. 5.
